George Inscoe
We are delighted to have secured the appointment of George Inscoe as our Music Director effective August 2025.

George Inscoe is a conductor and organist based in London, currently serving as Sub-Organist at St Paul’s Cathedral, as well as the Musical Director of the Buckland & Betchworth Choral Society.
​
George previously held positions at Norwich Cathedral, where he regularly conducted the Cathedral Choir, Chamber Choir, and the city’s professional period instrument ensemble, Norwich Baroque. He has led performances in venues including Cadogan Hall and the Royal Festival Hall, working with ensembles such as the London Concertante, City of London Sinfonia and London Mozart Players.

A former chorister at Canterbury Cathedral, George was a scholarship student at the Royal Academy of Music, where he was awarded numerous prizes for performance and academia. Alongside his conducting work, he maintains an active freelance career as a recitalist, continuo player, and educator.
